Inspire students as a Debate and Public Speaking Teacher based in Vancouver, BC. Utilize engaging lessons to enhance communication skills and critical thinking in an interactive classroom setting.
We are looking for an experienced educator to guide students through debate competitions, Model UN, and RCM exams. This role emphasizes teamwork and participation and requires planning interactive lessons tailored for various age groups. You will be responsible for fostering a positive environment and providing personalized coaching to enhance student confidence and abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan interactive lessons on debate and speech techniques
• Foster a respectful and involved classroom atmosphere
• Guide students through debates and public speaking exercises
• Regularly assess progress and provide individual coaching
• Manage classroom behavior for focused learning
Requirements:
• Proven teaching experience in debate or public speaking
• Willingness to travel to Vancouver and Richmond campuses
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Bachelor’s Degree required
