Early Childhood Educator - On-Call Position

Join the Developmental Disabilities Association as an On-Call Early Childhood Educator. This casual role emphasizes play-based learning, supporting special needs and family engagement.

As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a significant role in the holistic development of children in inclusive settings. The ideal candidate will hold a BC ECE certification or be currently enrolled in the program while providing tailored educational experiences. Work closely with children, families, and staff to create a supportive environment for all learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver inclusive educational programs

• Promote interaction among all children during activities

• Work with management to tailor support for families

• Ensure safety and well-being in a collaborative setting

• Document children's progress and engage families

Requirements:

• Completion or enrollment in BC ECE Program with ECEA certification

• Valid First Aid/CPR and Criminal Record clearance

• Basic English communication skills and computer literacy

• Must be available for a minimum of two days weekly

• Authorized to work in Canada
