Become a Music Teacher hony of Padua School, shaping young minds through music as a part time educator. Join our supportive, faith-based community in Vancouver.
St. Anthony of Padua School invites applications for the part time (.4) Music Teacher position. The ideal candidate will have experience in choral music and liturgical teachings along with pedagogical techniques such as Kodaly and Orff.
Your role will be integral in developing students' musical talents and fostering a love for music as part of their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver inspiring music lessons
• Teach and assess choral performances
• Promote understanding of liturgical music
• Collaborate with colleagues on music projects
• Evaluate student musical growth and skills
Requirements:
• Valid BC Teaching Certificate
• Experience with choral music and liturgy
• Knowledge of Kodaly or Orff methods
• Criminal Record Check if from outside BC
• Strong collaboration and mentoring skills
