Corpus Christi Elementary School is a fun and joyful faith community centered on Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. We integrate our shared Catholic faith in our daily lives, through the celebration of the Mass, prayer, and liturgical celebrations. At Corpus Christi, we have many extracurricular programs and local outreach opportunities for our staff and students to get involved with. Corpus Christi School is seeking a Grade 4 Teacher. This position will be short term with the opportunity for a continuing position.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, develop positive relationships with students that instill a sense of belonging and connection.
• Nurture students’ cognitive, social, and emotional growth while empowering students to be active agents of their own learning.
• Use student‑centred, inquiry‑based approaches to teaching, learning, and assessment that align with the philosophy and framework of the Grade 4 CISVA Christian Education Curriculum and the BC Ministry of Education Curriculum.
• Administer the Foundations Skills Assessment (FSA).

• Proven experience teaching at the Grade 4 level or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of BC Ministry of Education curriculum and content.
• Experience with inquiry‑based, student‑centred pedagogy.
• Knowledge of Catholic education principles and values.
• Completed professional development in assessment (including FSA).
• Valid teaching certificate and eligibility to work in Canada.
