Position: Outdoor Nature Educator Role in BC
Become an Outdoor Nature Educator with Champlain Heights Community Association in Vancouver, BC. This role focuses on delivering curriculum and impactful outdoor learning experiences for kids from preschool to grade 7.

As a Nature Educator, you'll engage children in hands-on activities at Everett Crowley Park, leveraging your background in outdoor education. Collaborating with the CHCA Board, you'll develop and execute rich, thematic nature programs while addressing diverse learning needs. Passion for ecology and knowledge of the local environment are crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and facilitate outdoor educational programs

• Engage children with interactive nature activities

• Work closely with CHCA team and Board of Directors

• Affirm children's experiences and interests

• Perform tasks related to nature education

Requirements:

• 3+ years in environmental or outdoor education

• Demonstrable ecological knowledge

• Experience with multi-aged, neurodiverse groups

• Successful police reference check

• Excellent communication skills and creativity
