Position: Teaching Position: Grade 4 Teacher Needed

In this role, you will encourage cognitive, social, and emotional growth by utilizing student-centered, inquiry-based instructional methods aligned with both the CISVA and BC Ministry of Education Curriculums. Your work will be vital in establishing a nurturing classroom environment that drives student engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build positive relationships with students for improved learning

• Promote a sense of belonging and community in the classroom

• Utilize inquiry-based teaching methods in lesson planning

• Administer the FSA to monitor student progress

• Collaborate with staff on short-term initial contracts

Requirements:

• Hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate

• Background in inquiry-based education desired

• Ability to collaborate and connect with students

• Familiarity with CISVA Christian Education preferred

• Dedication to support faith-based instruction
