Position: Temporary Coordinator for Youth Programs
Drive youth engagement as a Temporary Coordinator of Youth Programs at YMCA BC. Lead the Youth Exchanges Canada and Youth Peace Network initiatives to support diverse participants.

This position, covering parental leave until March 2027, encompasses program facilitation, participant support, and logistical planning. As the Youth Program Coordinator, you'll work collaboratively with group leaders and stakeholders, ensuring smooth program execution and fostering cultural sensitivity. Your leadership will impact youth through exchanges and experiences that broaden perspectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Connect with communities to promote youth programs

• Maintain ongoing communication with Group Leaders

• Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans

• Assist with host family preparations and consent forms

• Support delivery of virtual sessions and cultural activities

Requirements:

• 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent education

• Organized with strong logistics management skills

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools

• Provide satisfactory references and Criminal Record check
