Position: St. Andrew’s Grade 1 Teacher Role
Shape the future rew’s in East Vancouver as a Grade 1 Teacher dedicated to holistic student development. This role emphasizes a vibrant Catholic faith and dynamic teaching.

St. Andrew’s is seeking a Grade 1 Teacher who can contribute to a culturally diverse educational environment. The school prefers BC-certified teachers experienced in Catholic education and passionate about extracurricular involvement and pre-sacramental preparation. Candidates should also excel in badminton, track & field, and have creative skills for designing educational props and costumes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive education to Grade 1 students

• Support pre-sacramental activities for student growth

• Lead and facilitate extracurricular activities

• Design and implement educational backdrops and props

• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities

Requirements:

• Active BC Teaching Certificate

• Strong personal commitment to Catholic teachings

• Experience in a Catholic school preferred

• Criminal Record Check for applicants from outside BC

• Two recent professional reference letters
