ILSC Vancouver Juniors is seeking qualified ESL Teachers for its Residential Program s part-time role involves teaching Monday to Friday mornings, creating a welcoming space that encourages self-expression. You will design lessons based on curriculum guidelines to improve students’ language skills and fluency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver engaging English lessons

• Elicit and assess students’ language needs

• Create an inclusive environment for self-expression

• Collaborate with the Centre Director and undergo lesson evaluations

• Assist with student induction and testing

Requirements:

• TESL certificate recognized by TESL Canada or CELTA

• Teaching experience with ages 10-12

• Legal eligibility to work in Canada without restrictions

• Union membership required

• Criminal record police check necessary
