Web Design Instructor at VCC

Shape the next generation of web designers with the Vancouver Community College as a Web Design Instructor. Focus on curriculum development, student assessments, and in-class instruction while delivering a blend of in-person and online courses.

As an instructor at VCC, you'll leverage five years of Visual Communications experience to teach courses on UI/UX strategy, web development, and Word Press. You will develop teaching materials, assess student progress, and provide individualized support, making a significant impact on your students' careers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach using diverse methods including lectures and hands-on projects

• Develop and prepare curriculum and teaching materials

• Administer and evaluate assessments with detailed feedback

• Advise students on curricula and career directions

• Maintain effective use of classroom facilities and equipment

Requirements:

• Five years of relevant Visual Communications industry experience

• Two years of formal training in web design or related fields

• BC Provincial Instructor's Diploma or equivalent

• Preferred experience in formal education settings

• Membership in a professional design association preferred
