This pivotal part-time contract position involves working with learners from Kindergarten to grade 12.

Your role includes developing strengths-based learning plans, conducting assessments, and providing feedback to ensure successful learning outcomes. Collaborate with educators and community partners to create an engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-to-one instruction at the East Vancouver Learning Centre

• Create a neuroaffirming and enjoyable learning atmosphere

• Develop year-long individualized learning plans and daily lessons

• Conduct assessments to identify strengths and challenges

• Provide written progress reports using assistive technology

Requirements:

• Experience supporting school-aged children with learning differences

• Strong communication skills, written and verbal

• Knowledge of structured literacy and math concepts

• Ability to work independently and self-direct

• Clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening
