Position: Educational Assistant - Full-Time at VCS
Become a pivotal support for high school students at Vancouver Christian School as a full-time Educational Assistant. This role, from 8:15 am to 4:15 pm, emphasizes collaboration to foster student learning and inclusivity.

Located in Vancouver, British Columbia, VCS has a longstanding commitment to Christ-centred education. In this position, you will work under the guidance of the High School Inclusive Education Coordinator, assisting with tailored student support and promoting effective learning experiences. Your strong communication skills and organizational abilities will play a key role in student development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on student support using inclusive strategies

• Assist in executing educational and health plans

• Facilitate life skills and emotional self-regulation

• Build positive relationships with students for enhanced learning

• Communicate effectively with staff to track student progress

Requirements:

• EA Certification or relevant degree preferred

• Extensive experience in education or child psychology

• Documented ABA training experience

• Open to continuous learning and reflection

• Committed to fostering a Christian community
