About Forbest Academy:
At Forbest Academy, we believe every student deserves the opportunity to achieve excellence. Through expert academic coaching and personalized learning, our Vancouver and Richmond centers help students strengthen their skills, deepen their understanding, and build lasting confidence.
About the Role:We are seeking a motivated, proactive, and results-driven Student Acquisition Specialist to help increase student registrations. This role is hands‑on and entrepreneurial: you will identify and execute creative outreach strategies, connect with families, and guide them through the enrollment process. Success in this role is measured by your ability to generate leads and convert them into enrolled students.
Key Responsibilities:- Proactively develop and execute outreach strategies to attract new students (e.g., community areas, near schools, parent networks).
- Lead and execute field-based outreach activities, including community engagement, promotional material distribution, and direct interaction with prospective families in target locations.
- Take ownership of generating student leads through creative, self-directed initiatives.
- Maintain full ownership of enrollment targets, proactively 'hunting' for new leads rather than waiting for inbound inquiries.
- Connect directly with parents and students, explain programs, and guide them through enrollment.
- Follow up with inquiries and convert interest into confirmed registrations.
- Build relationships with local schools, parent networks, and education consultants to support lead generation.
- Continuously track results and refine outreach strategies to maximize enrollment growth.
- Adapt quickly to market dynamics by testing and implementing creative, non-traditional acquisition strategies to maximize center registration growth.
- 2+ years of experience working at a for-profit tutoring center or learning center.
- Proven ability to increase student enrollment and convert inquiries into registrations.
- Strong communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills; comfortable speaking with parents and students.
- Highly self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
- Mandarin or Cantonese fluency preferred.
- Must reside in the Greater Vancouver Area and be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Supportive and collaborative team environment.
- Opportunity to make a direct impact on students’ learning and confidence.
- Develop entrepreneurial skills in outreach, enrollment, and community engagement.
