Join University Hill Secondary School as a full-time ADST Teacher! This position focuses on diverse learning methods while teaching ADST Explorations and Engineering classes.
This continuing full-time role includes teaching two blocks of Applied Design, Skills and Technologies (ADST) Explorations 8 parts and three blocks for Explorations 9/10, alongside Yearbook and Engineering 11/12. The ideal candidate will engage students, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching practices for inclusivity and responsiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct ADST courses for grades 8 to 10
• Guide Yearbook and Engineering 11/12 students
• Offer personalized feedback on student progress
• Support inclusive learning for all abilities
• Plan engaging and responsive lesson activities
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education degree
• Proven experience with ADST education
• Valid BC Teaching Certificate
• Recent teaching evaluations are a plus
• Registration with the Teacher Qualification Service
