Elevate your teaching career as an ESL Instructor with MOSAIC in Vancouver. This hybrid role focuses on online class delivery, curriculum adjustments, and creating an inclusive learning environment.
As a part of the HEU team, the ESL Instructor position requires expertise in facilitating ESL classes for adult learners.
Your role will involve assessing student needs, providing valuable feedback using CLB and PBLA frameworks, and fostering a supportive online atmosphere. We welcome applicants with strong pedagogical backgrounds and a passion for teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging online ESL classes to HEU members
• Conduct needs assessments and set goals for students
• Provide feedback and assessment via CLB and PBLA
• Create a safe and inclusive online learning environment
• Adjust curriculum to fit client needs based on feedback
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of adult ESL teaching experience
• Recognized TESL certificate or equivalent
• Proficient in Moodle and Zoom for online instruction
• Community-based ESL experience is a plus
• Knowledge of CLBs and PBLA
