In this term position, you will supervise and mentor approximately eight interns yearly, collaborating with the IIP Steering Group and MOA Working Group to develop effective policies and procedures. Your strong interpersonal skills will be essential as you coordinate placement training, manage a program budget, and establish relationships with cultural institutions. This role also emphasizes respecting diverse perspectives, enhancing equity, diversity, and inclusion in all program activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop application policies and materials for interns
• Create program timelines and execute tasks with partners
• Manage program budget and oversee expenditures
• Connect interns with educational resources and programs
• Supervise intern research and career development
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline
• Minimum three years related experience
• Strong knowledge of Indigenous cultural heritage
• Proven organizational and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to enhancing equity and diversity
Lead a transformative cultural heritage program while supporting the next generation of indigenous leaders.
