Position: Elementary Teacher at Our Lady of Perpetual Help
Lead a Grade 2 classroom at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Vancouver, blending faith-based education with literacy and numeracy skills development. This role is integral for the academic and spiritual growth of students.

Our Lady of Perpetual Help School is looking for a dedicated Grade 2 Teacher for the  school year. The successful candidate must exhibit a strong commitment to the Catholic faith, aiding students in their spiritual formation while fostering essential academic skills in literacy and numeracy. Participation in the school’s busy extracurricular program is a requirement, ensuring well-rounded student development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach literacy and numeracy to second graders

• Facilitate First Reconciliation and First Communion preparations

• Participate actively in school’s extracurricular initiatives

• Model Catholic values and integrate them into teaching

• Engage in professional development and collaboration

Requirements:

• BC Teaching Certificate required upon hire

• Practicing Catholic status is essential

• Experience in elementary education preferred

• Strong literacy and numeracy teaching skills

• Submission of professional reference letters needed
