Physical Education Teacher Waldorf School

Embrace the opportunity to inspire children at Vancouver Waldorf School as a Physical Education Teacher for Grades 2-8. This part-time role is set to begin in the  school year, teaching two days each week.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education and a BC Teaching Certificate. Experience in Waldorf Education is highly valued, as is training in Spacial Dynamics. Responsibilities include crafting dynamic lesson plans and evaluating student achievements to enhance learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement Waldorf Physical Education curriculum for Grades 2-8

• Assess student progress through reports and meetings

• Manage bookings with North Van Recreation Centre

• Engage in committee work and faculty events

• Attend mandatory training days prior to school opening

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education

• BC Teaching Certificate or qualifications for one

• Background in Waldorf Education experiences

• Knowledge of Spacial Dynamics movement

• Compliance with BC teaching regulations
