The First Nation School Board (FNSB) is seeking a passionate Numeracy Coach in Whitehorse, Yukon. This pivotal role involves building educator capacity through coaching, mentoring, and professional learning, all grounded in Yukon First Nation values. You will support schools in delivering high-quality numeracy instruction while fostering reflective practices and evidence-informed approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide instructional leadership in numeracy education
• Coach educators on effective instructional practices
• Develop and share essential instructional resources
• Foster reflective practice among teaching staff
• Support school-based improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Experience in curriculum development focused on numeracy
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with partners
