Join Arts Umbrella as a part-time Art & Design Assistant in Vancouver and Surrey. Work evenings and weekends to support instructors and engage with students creatively.

Arts Umbrella seeks a dedicated assistant for the  session. You will ensure classrooms are prepared, assist instructors, and promote a safe creative space for young learners. Ideal candidates will have professional experience in the arts and a passion for interacting with children, embodying Arts Umbrella’s vision and mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare classrooms and supplies before classes start

• Work collaboratively with program instructors

• Ensure safety and cleaning protocols are consistently met

• Engage students and parents in the creative vision

• Maintain classroom setup before and after sessions

Requirements:

• Professional experience in Art & Design or related fields

• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with children

• Strong understanding of Arts Umbrella’s mission

• Commitment to inclusivity and diversity practices

• Flexible availability for evenings and weekends
