Instructor of Israeli Dance at JCC

Join Dena Wosk School of Performing Arts as an Israeli Dance Instructor. Inspire youth while teaching the joy of Israeli dance and culture through engaging classes.

This position is perfect for someone with experience in teaching or a rich background in Israeli dance. Classes are aimed at children and teens, focusing on building their technical skills, confidence, and teamwork. You will also prepare your students for various performances throughout the year, including cultural festivals and an annual showcase.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach weekly Israeli dance to children and teens

• Foster an inclusive and creative learning environment

• Guide students through dance techniques and choreography

• Prepare and support students for performances

• Communicate with families about class activities

Requirements:

• Teaching experience in Israeli dance or strong dance background

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Reliable and enthusiastic instructor

• Ability to work outside class hours for events

• Pass a criminal record check for youth work

Teach Israeli dance passionately and lead students towards becoming confident performers at the JCC.
