Join UBC as an Associate Prospective Student Advisor, where you will be at the forefront of guiding prospective students through the admission process. This role combines in-person and online advising to create a welcoming experience.

You will directly impact your clients from the Vancouver campus, providing essential information about admissions, financial aids, and housing options. Throughout the week, you’ll create engaging content and assess advising programs' effectiveness through data collection and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create innovative advising activities for student outreach

• Facilitate information sessions both in-person and online

• Resolve complex inquiries from prospective students

• Assess patterns of student engagement and participation

• Collaborate on initiatives to enhance student services

Requirements:

• Relevant degree; experience in education preferred

• Familiarity with admission processes for Canadian and international students

• Ability to communicate empathetically

• Experience with CRM or student information systems

• Strong analytical skills for assessing program effectiveness
