Academic Advisor at YOLA

Enhance student education as an Academic Advisor s role focuses on teaching, student support, and conducting assessments to ensure effective learning outcomes.

As an Academic Advisor, you will deliver main classes using engaging methods while conducting supplementary sessions. Engage in one-on-one tutoring and manage testing assessments to allocate students appropriately. This position requires collaboration with Teaching Assistants and tutors to provide quality academic support and also involves participation in ongoing training meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver main classes that follow a standardized curriculum

• Conduct supplementary classes for diverse learning needs

• Administer Placement Tests and evaluate results

• Oversee tutoring sessions and academic support

• Engage in events for students and center operations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher required

• English proficiency certificate (IELTS 7.5+)

• Teaching qualification/certification (CELTA/TESOL/TEFL)

• Minimum six months experience in English teaching

• Strong communication and collaboration skills required
