North Casual Skate Instructor

Become a North Vancouver Casual Skate Instructor with NVRC. This role involves teaching skating to children and adults while ensuring a safe and welcoming skating environment.

In this casual role, you'll be responsible for delivering fun and educational skating lessons. Your duties will include preparing lesson plans and demonstrating skating techniques, with schedules spanning weekdays and weekends. A positive mindset and effective communication are key to this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and implement effective skating lesson plans

• Teach skating skills to a diverse community

• Maintain skating equipment in optimal condition

• Offer great customer service experiences to attendees

• Be adaptable to various instructional needs

Requirements:

• Must hold current Standard First Aid certification

• Obtain HIGH FIVE Certification within three months

• Teaching experience or related qualifications helpful

• Flexibility for varying shifts and locations

• Police Information Check is a must
