Lead Teacher for Preschool Education

Join the Douglas Park Community as a Lead Preschool Teacher. This role prioritizes high-quality educational programs for children aged 3 and 4, focusing on both structured and child-led learning.

As the lead teacher, you'll be instrumental in developing and managing the preschool curriculum while maintaining compliance with licensing regulations. You'll also guide and support other educators and establish positive relationships with families and community partners, enhancing preschool experiences for all involved.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and evaluate age-appropriate educational programs

• Provide leadership and mentorship to preschool staff

• Ensure health and safety compliance in the classroom

• Handle administrative duties related to program operations

• Foster a clean and organized classroom reflective of children's needs

Requirements:

• Valid ECE Certificate with First Aid certification

• Minimum two years in a preschool or childcare setting

• Proven leadership experience preferred

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to support diverse learning needs effectively
