Grades 1 & 2 Educator Waldorf School

Lead a vibrant classroom as a Grades 1 & 2 Educator at Vancouver Waldorf School. This full-time teaching role is set to begin during the 2026–2027 school year, focusing on holistic education.

As an Educator, you will inspire students through a rich curriculum that includes subjects like Math, English Language Arts, and Physical Education. A commitment to Waldorf education, strong leadership, and effective communication with students and their families is essential. The role also encourages active participation in school life, professional growth, and collaborative practices within the faculty.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute lessons aligned with Waldorf and BC curriculum standards

• Cultivate a nurturing classroom environment

• Conduct assessments and communicate student progress

• Facilitate parent-teacher interactions and conferences

• Attend faculty meetings and contribute to school events

Requirements:

• BC Teaching Certificate with a minimum of 3 years' teaching experience

• Waldorf Teacher Training Certificate or readiness to train

• Experience working with lower grade students preferred

• Proficient in English with excellent communication abilities

• Dedication to contributing to school community life
