Part-Time Substitute Educator Position

East Village Kids in East Vancouver is looking for a Part-Time Substitute Educator. Join our community-focused team and contribute to children's growth and discovery.

We are seeking enthusiastic ECEs to support our preschool and daycare programs. As part of our ministry under West Coast Christian Fellowship, you will help create a nurturing environment for children to explore and learn. This role is essential during staff absences, ensuring continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the full time teaching staff

• Engage children in play-based learning activities

• Attend to the social and emotional needs of children

• Step in during staff vacations and sick days

• Collaborate with educators to enhance learning experiences

Requirements:

• ECE or ECEA certification required

• Strong dedication to early childhood development

• Flexibility to cover unscheduled shifts

• Ability to foster a caring community atmosphere

• Good interpersonal communication skills
