The Vancouver Board of Education invites applications for On-Call positions in Secondary Technical Studies. Candidates need a Bachelor of Education and a diploma in technical studies from recognized institutions. Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct students in technical studies including Woodwork
• Design engaging lesson plans to promote critical thinking
• Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum enhancement
• Adhere to regulatory guidelines in education
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education completion required
• Technical studies diploma from an accredited institution
• Completed teaching practicum in technical education
• Must be eligible for Teacher Regulation Branch membership
• Required registration with the Teacher Qualification Service
Play a key role in enhancing students' technical skills with VSB's supportive teaching community.
