Student Assistant Campus

Support student success as a Student Support Assistant at our Vancouver Campus located in Langley.

Your role will be essential in assisting students with their diverse educational needs.

We invite applications for the Student Support Assistant position, where you will engage with students to address their varying academic, social, and emotional challenges. A Grade 12 diploma with a Special Education Teacher Assistant Certificate or similar training is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help students navigate their educational challenges

• Use behavior management techniques to assist learning

• Engage effectively with students and staff

• Strategize based on behavioral and emotional needs

• Track and report student progress appropriately

Requirements:

• High school graduation with relevant certifications

• Completion of POPARD training on Autism and Behavior Analysis

• Familiarity with task analysis and behavioral strategies

• Basic computer literacy required

• Strong physical capability and adaptability to student needs
