** Reporting to the Manager, Employee Learning and Development the Learning and Development Advisor, is responsible for collaborating with partners across the college to plan, design, deliver, and evaluate learning opportunities for employees – including online, hybrid, and face-2-face delivery methods.
This role is focused on promoting, building, and maintaining learning and development opportunities, resources, and systems that support employees.
As a member of the Organizational Development team, this role contributes to employee and organizational success by providing innovative, inclusive, accessible, and engaging professional development and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
The incumbent contributes to the shared strategic initiatives undertaken by People and Culture and shares responsibility for their success.

**** Strategic Support
** Provide expertise in the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of employee learning and development
* Research and recommend innovative, emerging, and leading practice trends, tools, methods, and strategies for professional development and workplace learning.
* Identify opportunities and offer recommendations for potential innovations and applications to projects, programs and initiatives in alignment with the strategic objectives of the College.
* Advise on and model the application of the evolving adult learning scholarship, instructional design, new technology, and emerging trends.
* Advise on the development and refinement of policies, practices, programs, projects, and processes in support of team, department, and organizational strategic objectives.
* Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of an annual calendar of professional and leadership development opportunities.
** Learning and Development Advising
** Provide guidance, consultation, resources, and requisite expertise to facilitate the development of individual, team, and departmental performance in alignment with the strategic objectives of the College.
* Identify opportunities for partnerships and projects.
* Partner with stakeholders to identify employee learning needs and learning and development solutions.
* Provide consultation to leaders for innovative, relevant, effective workplace learning solutions.
* Provide pedagogically and technically informed consultation, education, training, support, and resources on learning technologies for employee development.
* Provide consultation for learning and teaching with technology in face-to-face, mixed mode, and online delivery.
