Located in Kitsilano, we need a part-time math tutor for high school students, focusing on topics including algebra and calculus.
This role offers pre-planned lessons, requiring commitment and reliability as you support students after school and some Saturdays. You will be trained in our unique teaching methodologies to enhance student engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach groups of up to three students at once
• Implement Oxford Learning's teaching methodologies
• Complete daily student updates and lesson notes
• Maintain a professional and approachable attitude
Requirements:
• Relevant Bachelor's degree or certification
• Prior experience tutoring high school math
• Strong English communication abilities
• Familiarity with Grades 9-12 math curriculum
• Capability to manage multiple students effectively
