Senior Math Teacher Christian School

Vancouver Christian School seeks a full-time Senior Math Teacher to start approximately November 1, 2026. Leverage your experience in teaching Math 10, Pre-calculus, and Calculus 12 within a supportive community.

This maternity leave position offers the opportunity to impact students' academic growth while integrating Christian values. Joining a team focused on nurturing holistic development, you will create engaging learning experiences and participate in extra-curricular activities.

Your role also includes collaboration with colleagues and ongoing professional development in educational practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create engaging and dynamic learning environments

• Contribute to VCS culture through teamwork and worship

• Engage fully in student-learning and extra-curricular activities

• Teach additional courses as required

• Participate in professional development to enhance teaching

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education degree completion

• Experience teaching senior-level math courses

• Understanding of differentiated instruction

• Knowledge of current pedagogy and assessment practices

• Teaching certificate from BC Ministry of Education
