We’re currently looking for Digital Literacy Educators to join our team.
Here’s an Overview of the Position Digital Moment is seeking experienced educators, facilitators, and relationship-builders to support the growth and adoption of AI literacy initiatives across Canada.
As part of a national cohort, each Digital Literacy Educator will lead a region and will drive engagement within specific territories. This role focuses on educator professional development, stakeholder outreach, regional relationship-building, and practical knowledge mobilization.
Working directly with educators, school boards, ministries of education, educational associations, and local partners, you will build awareness, pitch Digital Moment’s AI Literacy Framework, deliver high-impact professional learning, and move aligned opportunities from conversation into action.
While you will need a strong understanding of Digital Moment’s AI Literacy Framework (training we, and our international partner, will provide) to present and contextualize it for key stakeholders, your primary day-to-day focus will be driving regional outreach, facilitating workshops, building local educator networks, and supporting practical implementation in K-12 (elementary school) contexts.
Key Responsibilities Regional Outreach & Partnership Mobilization Develop and maintain relationships with educators, school leaders, school boards, ministries, educational associations, and other key stakeholders across your region.
Initiate outreach meetings to understand emerging needs, regional priorities, and local challenges, serving as a trusted ambassador for Digital Moment’s AI literacy initiatives.
Pitch Digital Moment’s AI Literacy Framework and educational programs to system leaders, demonstrating how AI literacy can be ethically integrated into teaching, leadership, and policy.
Identify and cultivate local champions, collaborators, and partnership opportunities to extend reach across the regional education ecosystem.
Help move aligned opportunities into active projects through clear next steps, shared workplans, and formal partnership structures.
Identify existing regional resources and initiatives that can be leveraged or supported rather than duplicated.
Educator Professional Development & Community Building Deliver engaging, practical workshops, webinars, and learning sessions (both virtual and in-person) that help educators apply AI literacy concepts in classroom contexts.
Adapt professional learning content for diverse audiences, including classroom teachers, school administrators, and system-level decision-makers.
Build and nurture regional educator networks to foster peer learning, shared practice, ongoing feedback, and sustained engagement post-training.
