Visitor Science Facilitator

Position: Visitor Experience Science Facilitator
Join Science World as a Visitor Experience Science Facilitator, where interactive learning and customer service come together. Engage visitors through hands-on science experiences and educational programming.

In this full-time role, you will act as a Science Facilitator, providing support for daily operations at Science World. Responsibilities include conducting live science demonstrations, maintaining exhibits, and mentoring high school volunteers. You will also oversee and coordinate team schedules while ensuring a safe, vibrant environment for patrons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver responsive and friendly customer service

• Conduct engaging live science shows and programs

• Mentor High School Work Experience students effectively

• Supervise Visitor Experience staff and maintain schedules

• Ensure operational excellence of galleries and exhibits

Requirements:

• Minimum High School diploma; preferred post-secondary education

• Background in museums, science, or education is advantageous

• Prior supervisory experience preferred

• Excellent public speaking and interpersonal skills

• Physically capable of lifting and working outdoors
