Research-Focused Assistant Professor at UBC

The University of British Columbia (UBC) is hiring a Tenure Track Assistant Professor specializing in U-Pb Geochronology, aimed at enhancing research and teaching in solid Earth sciences.

As a member of the Department of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences (EOAS), you will develop a distinguished research program while teaching undergraduate and graduate students. Your work will involve high-precision U-Pb methodologies and engage with significant geological timelines and processes, including tectonics and mineral deposits. Key Responsibilities:

• Launch and maintain a research program in geochronology

• Mentor students and oversee research projects
