The UBC Department of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences seeks a driven geochronologist to contribute to solid Earth sciences and leverage advanced analytical infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:
• Create a funded research program that achieves global recognition
• Supervise students and postdoctoral fellows in research
• Deliver courses in geology and related fields
• Develop and maintain the analytical capabilities of PCIGR
• Engage in community and professional service activities
Requirements:
• Ph.D. in Earth Sciences requisite by appointment
• Demonstrated expertise in U-Pb geochronology
• Record of impactful research publications
• Skill in attracting competitive research funding
