The UBC Camps Operations Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the seamless running of youth camp programs within the Department of Athletics and Recreation. This pivotal role features planning, program delivery, and systematic evaluations of camp activities. Reporting directly to the Director, Intramurals and Recreation, you will collaborate with a diverse team to enhance the user experience and promote community involvement in sports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the creation and logistics of camp programs

• Oversee camp registration and manage participant interactions

• Recruit, train, and support camp instructors

• Maintain operational budgets and financial records

• Develop and enforce safety procedures for campers

Requirements:

• Relevant undergraduate degree required

• Five years of applicable experience preferred

• Experience with recreational youth programming

• Skills in Microsoft Office and program management tools

• Valid criminal record check necessary
