In-Person French Educator Position

Take on an engaging role at Oxford Learning Vancouver Oakridge as an in-person French educator. Help students learn French and develop their study skills in a supportive environment.

This part-time role requires a reliable French-speaking individual to lead small groups of students in their language journey from Grade 9 to Grade 12. You will follow the Oxford Learning's curriculum, guiding students through their understanding, while creating a fun and interactive classroom experience. Commitment to evening and weekend schedules is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver lessons to small groups of up to three students

• Follow established teaching methodologies and curriculum

• Complete and maintain accurate post-lesson notes

• Exhibit a professional and friendly approach at all times

• Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning needs

Requirements:

• Pursuing a relevant degree or certification in teaching

• Proficiency in both spoken and written French

• Teaching experience in French is preferred

• Capability to handle groups efficiently

• Understanding of the Canadian French curriculum
