This maternity leave position offers 1.0 FTE with potential for extension. Candidates should have a Bachelor of Education and experience in senior math courses. This role provides an opportunity to foster a supportive learning environment while integrating Christian perspectives into teaching practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create engaging lessons for Math 10, Pre-calculus, and Calculus 12
• Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen VCS’s community
• Participate in extra-curricular activities outside regular hours
• Be flexible in teaching additional courses when needed
• Attend professional development sessions to enhance teaching abilities
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education completion required
• Experience teaching senior math is an asset
• Knowledge of differentiated instruction principles
• Familiarity with the BC Education curriculum is essential
• Valid certification from BC Teacher Regulation Branch
