Teach Canadian high school physics remotely or from Admission Prep's Vancouver office, using problem solving, vectors, and Newton's laws. Support students part time after school, mainly weekday evenings and weekends.
Admission Prep seeks a knowledgeable Physics Tutor for Grades 8 to 12. You will build genuine problem solving skills instead of formula hunting through personalized instruction. The work includes physics concepts, underlying mathematics, exam preparation, progress tracking, and constructive feedback for students and parents.
Key Responsibilities:- Tutor physics one to one over video
- Teach kinematics, forces, energy, waves, electricity, and magnetism
- Apply diagrams, physics identification, and equation selection
- Strengthen vectors, trigonometry, and algebraic rearrangement
- Prepare students for tests, assessments, and final exams
- Bachelor's degree in Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Education
- Teaching or tutoring experience with Grades 8 to 12
- Strong command of the Canadian high school physics curriculum
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident based in Canada
