Science World seeks temporary part-time Camp Leaders to guide children through STEAM activities, demonstrations, and supervised daily programming.
Working with the wider camps team, you will support groups of up to 20 campers alongside a co-leader and youth volunteer. You may work with different age groups as program needs change, while delivering workshops and Science World experiences. Winter camp shifts run Monday through Thursday, with Stay & Play afternoons available.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage camper groups through varied activities each week
- Facilitate gallery visits, center stage shows, and demonstrations
- Collaborate effectively with co-leaders and volunteers
- Escalate behavior or welfare concerns when appropriate
- Manage camper data responsibly and follow prevention policies
- Keen interest in science and STEAM learning
- Strong customer service skills preferred
- Experience with elementary-aged children and caregivers
- Reliable, responsible, and self-motivated work style
- Required Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Checks
