Job DescriptionThe co‑op will be treated as a full team member, learning electronics design engineering in a real‑world environment. You will join a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for designing and implementing next‑generation Motorola high‑performance video solutions.
Responsibilities- Support circuitry for embedded media processors and FPGAs.
- High‑speed digital signaling (DDR SDRAM, Ethernet, CMOS image sensors).
- High‑speed, low‑noise analog signal conditioning.
- High‑speed clock driver design for image sensors.
- High‑efficiency power supply design.
- Digital and analog control loops.
- Electro‑mechanical control and drive circuitry and microcontroller‑based subsystems.
- Design electronic circuits using EDA tools (SPICE simulators, schematic capture, PCB layout).
- Electrical and thermal performance testing of cameras.
- Build and test electronic circuits with workbench tools and test equipment.
- Test, troubleshoot, and kludge first revisions of electronic circuit boards.
- Create and maintain design documentation, assembly trees, and bills of materials.
- Estimate work and cost, track progress of tasks.
- Work productively with vendors, manufacturing personnel, programmers, and designers from other disciplines.
- Deliver results with dedicated, tenacious work ethic.
- Enthusiasm for electronics.
- Pragmatic problem‑solving approach.
- Hands‑on testing and troubleshooting experience.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Deep understanding of analog and digital circuits and ability to optimize designs.
