As a pivotal member of the Load Forecasting team, you will enhance energy modeling for BC Hydro's industrial clients. This role demands a proactive approach to identifying economic and regulatory factors and requires excellent analytical skills. You will create and communicate long-term load scenarios that align with company objectives, ensuring effective collaboration across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead forecasting studies for industrial sub-sectors

• Identify emerging load drivers and implications

• Understand customer electrification and decarbonisation

• Translate regulatory changes into forecasting scenarios

• Monitor and improve forecasting models and processes

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree in economics, engineering, or related field

• 6-8 years of relevant forecasting experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
