Capilano Energy is seeking a motivated Junior Plant Engineer who will gain valuable knowledge in multi-building energy systems. Working closely with senior engineers, you will assist in operating various equipment, performing diagnostics, and conducting preventative maintenance. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with boiler and chiller operations and repairs

• Perform regular equipment inspections for safety and efficiency

• Coordinate maintenance tasks with internal teams and contractors

• Support troubleshooting and compliance monitoring efforts

• Participate actively in training and weekly team meetings

Requirements:

• 5th Class Power Engineer certification required

• 1-2 years of plant operations experience preferred

• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems

• Strong communication skills and ability to learn quickly

• Willingness to maintain safety protocols
