We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to work alongside our team of professionals. We offer the opportunity to grow professionally and work on exciting building projects across Canada. This is an immediate need to

The successful candidate will:

Review of design drawings, shop drawings, etc. for Building Code Compliance

Prepare Code compliance drawings, reports, letters, alternative solutions, etc.

Conduct site reviews and prepare field review reports.

Attend meetings, presentations, occupancy demonstrations, etc.

A graduated Technician or Technologist with educational focus in Architectural and Building Technologies (experience in Civil, Mechanical and Structural disciplines is an asset).

Knowledge of Parts 3 and/or 9 of the Building Code.

Ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing).

Ability to read and interpret building design drawings (drafting skills are an asset).

Team oriented and able to work individually.

Hold a valid BC Driver’s License.

Physical and Mental

Job Qualifications:

Must be able to commute andwork in personon a hybrid schedule in our Vancouver office.

Must be able to travel to different regions within the British Colombia, and across Canada.

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per annum plus benefits and opportunities for advanced training and education. Any offered salary range is based on a wide array of factors including but not limitedto skillset,experience, training, location, scope of role, management responsibility, etc.
