As our new
** Early Career Hydrogeologist**, you’ll join a group of professionals that include hydro geologists and hydrologists, engineers, geochemists, surficial geologists, ecologists, geomorphologists, technologists, technicians and environmental scientists to work in a dynamic and collaborative work environment on multi-disciplinary projects.
** Responsibilities*
* • Conduct field data collection, entry, and organization with the Groundwater Modeling team  
• Be responsible for data processing and management, and for analyzing large and complex datasets  
• Support the preparation of high-quality technical reports and proposals  
• Project coordination  
• Work collaboratively under the mentorship and supervision of senior and intermediate technical staff

• The salary range for this position is $65,000 – $75,000. Final agreed upon compensation will be commensurate with individual education, professional designation, experience, internal parity, and location.

** Qualifications*
* • Minimum two years of experience in hydrology, geomorphology, groundwater, and groundwater field methods  
• Degree in Hydrogeology or a related discipline  
• Proficiency with R, Python and/or a background in computer science and other applicable programming languages  
• Swiftwater training, ATV/UTV/Argo Safe Operations certifications are desirable  
• Registration (or eligibility for registration) as a Geoscientist in Training (G.I.T.), Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) in BC would be an asset  
• Flexibility and willingness to travel for fieldwork  
• Strong communication skills  
• Valid BC driver's license
