Robotic Hardware Engineer
About Texavie
Texavie () is a fast growing startup with a mission to bring dexterity and tactile sensing to robotic hands, manipulators, humanoids, and physical AI, using our 5k1n technology. We are developing game-changing wearable and robotic systems that will be used to empower dexterity, accuracy, tactile sensing in humanoid and industrial robotic systems. Our 5k1n products provide a sense of touch to robots similar to human skin and help robots sense their environment, evaluate their grasp and be able to handle complex tasks, and manipulate objects with accuracy, repeatability and autonomy.
We work with leading humanoid and robotic companies to bring our solutions to market, with significant potential for different industrial verticals including warehouse operations, advanced manufacturing, homecare, healthcare, agriculture, hospitality and security.
About Us
We are an award-winning high-tech startup based in Vancouver, BC, Canada with experience in the areas of flexible electronics, advanced sensors, smart textile, robotics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. Our 5k1n solutions provide unparalleled accuracy in capturing human movements and tactile force data that can be used to tele-operate, train and develop large language models for dexterity and autonomy in humanoid and advanced robotic systems.
Our solutions are being extended to robotic systems and humanoids for providing human-level dexterity, sense of touch and autonomy. We are also developing AI foundation models that incorporate tactile sensing for dexterity and autonomy in humanoids and robotic systems.
Our solutions have applications in rehabilitation, movement assessment, and healthcare beyond robotics.
