The new tunnel will have three vehicle lanes and a dedicated transit lane in each direction, with a separated active transportation corridor for cyclists and pedestrians.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Material Expertise professional to join our team for a large-scale tunnel infrastructure project.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for selecting, sourcing, and ensuring the quality of construction materials while adhering to technical, environmental, and safety standards.
This role requires close collaboration with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to optimize material performance and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide technical expertise on the selection and application of materials for tunnel construction.
· Proficiency in material testing techniques, laboratory procedures, and field inspections.
· Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) for material tracking and management is a plus.
Education and qualifications:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Material Science, or a related field.
