In this dual‑focus position, you’ll support both field program execution and national equipment management across ERM’s Canadian offices. Your coordination ensures dynamic field schedules stay on track and that critical equipment is maintained, available, and deployed efficiently - reaching the right teams at the right time.

What Your Impact Is

As part of ERM’s Project Management team, you’ll serve as the central coordination hub for environmental field programs across Canada. Your ability to anticipate risks, solve logistical challenges, and communicate proactively will be critical in fast‑moving field environments.

Your work will directly support environmental assessments, permitting, EHS compliance, and remediation activities tied to major energy and mining projects. By keeping operations running smoothly, you’ll enable high‑quality data collection, support ERM’s sustainability goals, and help project teams deliver exceptional outcomes for clients and communities.

What You’ll Bring

Required

  • 2+ years of experience in an equipment coordination or field logistics role, ideally supporting environmental fieldwork for multiple projects across Canada

  • Knowledge of environmental survey/sampling equipment (e.g., water quality meters, electrofishers, hydrometric tools, GPS units, communication devices such as radios, InReach, or satellite phones)

  • Exceptional organizational skills, strong systems thinking (Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), checklists), and attention to detail

  • Ability to multitask, problem‑solve, and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Proficiency with MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Ability to learn new software systems quickly

  • Driver's License

    Required:

    This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area

  • This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship

Preferred

  • Technical diploma or certificate in environmental sciences or a related field

  • Knowledge of transport regulations;
    Transportation of Dangerous Goods (Ground/Air) certifications are an asset

  • Demonstrated experience shipping equipment across large geographic areas, including remote and hard‑to‑access locations

  • Intermediate First Aid, Transportation Endorsement (BC), and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) training

  • Experience supporting sustainability initiatives or reporting metrics

  • Experience conducting environmental fieldwork

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with project managers and environmental technical leads to support execution of environmental field programs, ensuring people and equipment align with project timelines
