What you can expect to do here:

Lead & Inspire:
Technically guide our regional mine waste dumps and stockpile practice with strategic foresight and technical authority. Be the cornerstone of our team’s success.
Grow the Business:
Leverage your deep industry relationships and insight to expand our footprint and services across Western and Northern Canada.
Mentor Emerging Talent:
Foster a culture of growth by supporting intermediate and senior engineers as they develop into industry leaders.
Advance Best Practices:
Author internal technical guidance and contribute to external publications and conferences, elevating WSP’s thought leadership.

What you’ll bring to WSP:

A proven track record in mine waste dump and stockpile management across diverse geographies and projects.
Deep understanding of Canadian mining operations, particularly within BC, the Prairies, and Northern territories.
Advanced knowledge of industry best practice and guidelines in the design, operations and closure of mine waste management structures.
A wide professional network, including solid connections with major industry players.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills—with a passion for empowering others.
Experience presenting at conferences, leading technical working groups, and contributing to practice guidance.

Compensation:

Salary range (in British Columbia): $201,000 - $264,000

The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. The…
